Banks boost efforts to lure export funds

Indonesian lenders are being aggressive in offering banking products with competitive returns to exporters as the government has been calling for more export proceeds to be placed in domestic banks to increase supply of foreign exchange in the country.As exporters are only required to bring export proceeds back to the country for the purpose of reporting, they are said to be favoring overseas bank.
